What I believe
Early in my career, I worked with advisers who knew products inside out. The advice was often solid, but the support could fade once cover was in place.
Real life does not stand still.
Families grow. Businesses evolve. Responsibilities expand. Circumstances change. Protection should move with you, not sit still in a file.
This is why I created Care to Protect.
To bring a more thoughtful, long-term approach to wealth protection that’s built on structure, follow-through, and presence when decisions are tested in real life.
What I do
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked with business owners, professionals, and families to structure personal risk and wealth protection strategies that support what they’re building — and who they’re building it for. Delivering clear advice, careful implementation, and ongoing support as life inevitably changes.
In 2023, I was recognised as Risk Adviser of the Year at the Wealth Adviser (our licensee group) national congress and regularly present at the group’s professional development days and summits. I value the acknowledgement, but I value client trust more, especially when we are asked to support families across multiple chapters of life.
What shaped how I work
Before financial services, I represented Australia in baseball at four world championships and the 1996 Olympic Games. Elite sport taught me discipline, preparation, resilience, and the importance of showing up consistently — especially when the stakes are high.
I am also a husband and father of three. That keeps my work grounded. Protection isn’t about policies — it’s about people. It’s about honouring the responsibilities that come with the life you’ve built, and helping ensure it can endure.
